Ogallala Public High School has a school-to-work program that KOGA participates in annually.  Three High School Students interned at the station during these times.  The students received on the job training in accounting, production and computer software.

Participated in Activity Designed to Disseminate Information about Employment Opportunities in Broadcasting

 

The Nebraska Edge Coalition sponsors a locally run business class designed to help community residents start and run their own businesses. October 13, 2007 Katrina Twomey, the GM and John Brandt, the GSM spoke with the class about careers in broadcast radio.

Internet Program Designed to Promote Outreach Generally

 

Our job openings are posted on www.hirediversity.com, which provides extensive job hunting advice and background information in addition to individual job listings.
