LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - The final beam has been lifted into place for an arena that will house the University of Nebraska-Lincoln basketball program.
The topping out ceremony Wednesday included recognizing hundreds of construction workers who are helping to build the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln. Hundreds of people signed the beam last week.
The ceremony included appearances by state and city officials, and a performance by the UNL Cornhusker Pep Band.
The arena is on schedule to be completed in fall 2013.
