KEARNEY, Neb. (AP) - The University of Nebraska Foundation's top executive is scheduled deliver this year's winter commencement address on the university's Kearney campus.
Brian Hastings, the foundation's president and CEO, will speak to graduating students on Friday. The university says 418 students are slated to receive degrees during the 10 a.m. ceremonies at the University of Nebraska Kearney's Health and Sports Center.
Hastings has worked at the foundation since July. He came to Nebraska from Ohio, where he was the executive director of Ohio State University's $2.5 billion fundraising campaign.
Viewers who are unable to attend can watch the ceremonies through a webcast on the university's website.
