GOTHENBURG, Neb. (AP) - A 67-year-old Texas woman has died after a semitrailer rammed the back of her van on Interstate 80 in western Nebraska.
Lexington radio station KRVN reports (http://bit.ly/SMPpHf ) that the accident occurred a little after 8 p.m. Thursday near Gothenburg.
The Nebraska State Patrol says Carol Leonetti, of Irving, Texas, was driving east when she stopped her van. The truck soon stuck the van, knocking it into the median. The truck then crossed into and through the westbound lanes, ending up in a ditch.
No injuries to the truck driver have been reported.
