GOTHENBURG, Neb. (AP) - A worker has been rescued after four hours in grain past his waist inside a west-central Nebraska grain bin.
North Platte television station KNOP says (http://bit.ly/ZP4auW) the incident was reported around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday by Ed Foster of All Points Cooperative in Gothenburg.
Authorities say Rick Frickenstein was freed at 1:30 p.m. and was able to walk out of the bin. He was taken to a hospital to be checked out.
The incident is being investigated.
Frickenstein lives in Gothenburg and has worked at the co-op for seven years.
